Job summary

AdventHealth in Palm Coast, FL is seeking a Laboratory Manager/Supervisor to lead performance improvement and ensure accurate, timely lab results. You will oversee QA, scheduling, staff development, and adherence to regulatory standards across pre-, intra-, and post-analytical processes.

The role requires strong leadership, clinical lab experience, and the ability to train staff while maintaining patient safety and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology.
• CLIA equivalency criteria may apply.
• 3+ years of clinical laboratory experience.
• 1+ year of leadership experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in performance improvement activities in the laboratory.
• Oversee quality assessment, technical oversight, and competency evaluations.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and staff performance input.
• Perform pre-analytical, analytical, post-analytical testing processes with accuracy.
• Provide training and orientation to new staff and students.
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE usage align with regulations.
