Job summary

MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Lab Supervisor to coordinate and oversee laboratory operations, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. You’ll lead staffing, scheduling, training, QC, and collaboration with clinical teams, while monitoring performance and expenses.

Responsibilities include managing equipment, maintaining accreditation standards, and driving process improvements to support patient care. Previous leadership in a lab is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physical Science or related field is required.
• 1-2 years of related experience in clinical laboratory settings preferred.
• 1-2 years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily laboratory operations including staffing, scheduling, workflow management, and supply inventory.
• Oversee laboratory testing processes to ensure timely, accurate results compliant with CAP, CLIA, and Joint Commission.
• Lead and develop staff through training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
