Job summary

MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Manager of Laboratory Services to lead all technical aspects of the laboratory and set standards of practice. You will ensure competency and regulatory readiness while supervising staff.

In the absence of the Director, you will assume leadership duties and help translate data into patient-centered care decisions. This role requires a BS or equivalent and MT (ASCP) credentials, with Nevada supervisor licensure within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Equivalent Degree. MT (ASCP) or equivalent credentials.
• State of Nevada General Supervisor license (within 6 months of hire date)
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a supervisor or in increasingly responsible positions

Responsibilities

• Direct all technical aspects of the Laboratory and establish standards of practice.
• Administer competency programs and prepare for regulatory inspections; supervise staff.
• Act as Director in absence of the Director; assess data and provide patient care guidance.
