You will oversee budgeting, staffing, scheduling, instrument maintenance, and staff training, while reading complex test results and partnering across departments to advance patient care.

Candidates need a Bachelor's in a relevant field and 5+ years of leadership in a clinical laboratory.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of leadership experience
• 5+ years of clinical laboratory experience
• Ability to adhere to regulatory and accreditation standards (CLIA, CAP, OSHA, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written English communication
• Experience in training and coaching staff

Responsibilities

• Lead laboratory performance improvement activities and promote teamwork.
• Manage budgeting, department metrics, quality initiatives, and labor productivity.
• Oversee staff scheduling to align with workload and reduce overtime.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting body standards and regulations.
• Read, interpret, and address complex test results; provide expert resource for procedures.
