Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Manager to oversee the administrative, fiscal, and technical operations of the clinical laboratory, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

The role requires strategic planning, strong leadership, and collaboration with hospital departments to optimize services while maintaining compliance with CAP, CLIA, and JCAHO standards. On-site management and staff development are key aspects of this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field is required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in a closely related field are required.
• 2-4 years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee administrative, fiscal, and technical operations of the clinical laboratory to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
• Plan, organize, and evaluate laboratory functions while managing personnel, budgets, and resources.
• Serve as technical supervisor for on-site and off-site laboratory functions, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to standards.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and develop laboratory personnel; ensure staff competencies are assessed.
• Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, JCAHO, and other applicable standards; maintain documentation and readiness for inspections.
