Job summary

Clinical Management Consultants in Northern California seeks a Hospital Lab Manager to lead a busy clinical laboratory and advance patient care through accurate testing and strong leadership. The role reports to the Director of Laboratory Services and guides staffing, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance across a broad service mix.

The ideal candidate has four+ years as a Clinical Laboratory Generalist with at least two years of supervisory leadership, plus experience with CAP/TJC/COLA

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Generalist.
• At least two years of leadership experience with direct supervision.
• Experience participating in CAP, TJC, and/or COLA inspections.
• Strong Blood Bank operations expertise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory performance and staffing.
• Drive quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Lead CAP/TJC/COLA inspections involvement.
• Verifying and validating new laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Balance regulatory compliance with financial stewardship and responsive service.
