Zusammenfassung

gobravvo is seeking a Laboratory Operations Specialist to ensure safe, efficient lab logistics. You will manage inventory, ship hazardous materials, archive samples, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires 1–3 years in lab operations, DOT/IATA certifications, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. This full-time contract offers a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in laboratory operations, chemical shipping, or inventory management.
• DOT Hazardous Materials Certification (Ground shipping) required.
• IATA Dangerous Goods Certification (Air shipping) required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and transport packages throughout the facility.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and teamwork.

Aufgaben

• Track and manage inventory of laboratory supplies and PPE, ensuring timely reordering.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming deliveries.
• Prepare, label, and document shipments of hazardous materials following DOT and IATA regulations.
• Maintain accurate shipping logs and documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Log, label, and archive laboratory samples; conduct annual reviews and safe disposal of expired samples.
• Wash, dry, and restock laboratory equipment and glassware.
• Refill reagents and PPE across laboratory rooms daily.
• Organize and maintain laboratory workstations and supply rooms.
• File important documents, including SDSs and CoAs.
• Collect, label, and dispose of chemical waste according to safety protocols.
