Actalent is seeking a Logistics Specialist in South San Francisco, CA. This full‑time, onsite role supports laboratory operations, managing materials, inventory, and warehousing while ensuring GLP, DOT, and HazMat compliance.

The position involves hands‑on work, cross‑functional collaboration, and process improvements in a fast‑paced environment. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, college coursework in sciences, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• College coursework in biological or physical sciences or an AA/AS degree preferred.
• Experience in material packing, handling, inventory, and warehousing is a plus.
• Familiarity with GLP, DOT, HazMat regulations and safe chemical handling is beneficial.
• Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management and lab staff to meet safety and quality goals.
• Maintain inventory levels for lab consumables, reagents, chemicals, and glassware.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and temperature requirements for materials.
• Prepare receiving and shipping documents and support cross‑functional teams.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and assist with warehouse operations.
