Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Materials Operations professional in South San Francisco, CA to support warehouse functions and ensure compliance with GLP, DOT, and HazMat standards.

You will manage inventory, coordinate cross-functional resources, and ensure paperwork accuracy for receiving and shipping, while maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Strong communication and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with coursework in biological or physical sciences or an AA/AS degree in a related field.
• Material packing/handling, inventory management, and/or warehousing experience preferred.
• LEAN or Operational Excellence training and experience are a plus.
• Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork.
• Strong time management, organizational skills, ability to work independently, and customer service skills.
• Self-starter with focus on quality, attention to detail, and delivering results.
• Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills; clear communication.
• Must have a valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management and Materials Operations to meet goals while upholding safety and quality.
• Maintain inventory levels for lab consumables, reagents, chemicals, and glassware.
• Handle receiving documents and ensure materials are received in good condition; prepare packing lists and shipping documents.
• Troubleshoot operational errors and support warehouse operations.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety training.
• Engage in cross-functional training within Materials Operations departments.
• Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and in person; attend departmental meetings.
• Adapt to changing priorities and effectively multi-task daily workload.
• Provide routine updates to Supervisors on progress, status, and issues.
• Participate in projects and maintain compliance with laws and DOT.
