Job summary

gobravvo is seeking a Shipping Clerk to manage and execute shipping and logistics operations across a chemical processing environment. The role collaborates with customer service, drivers, and plant leadership to ensure accurate processing and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, DOT certification, strong data-entry and communication skills, and a detail-oriented, multitasking mindset suitable for a fast-paced plant setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current DOT Certification or ability to recertify.
• Proficiency in data entry and administrative documentation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy industrial setting.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all incoming and outgoing shipments and update schedules with customer service and drivers.
• Weigh trucks and ISO containers to maintain accurate shipping records.
• Prepare, print, and audit traffic paperwork for GMP compliance.
• Issue Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and complete shipping packets for transport drivers to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Apply DOT shipping regulations and placard requirements to all outbound loads.
• Maintain records for demurrage, logistics charges, and scheduling fees.
• Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies and place orders as needed.
• Verify tank space and product inventory for logistics planning.
• Assist with training loader personnel and perform additional admin tasks.
