Field Service Coordinator

Trident Consulting is seeking a Field Service Coordinator for one of our client in Krotz Springs, LA. A global leader in business and technology services.

Role: Field Service Coordinator

Pay Rate: $30/hr - $40/hr on W2 (Inclusive all)

Work Environment: On-site – Combination of office, field, and laboratory environments.

Position Overview

The Field Service Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between customers, field service technicians, laboratory personnel, and internal business teams to ensure efficient service delivery and strong customer relationships. This role coordinates field operations, supports account management activities, monitors service execution, and identifies opportunities to enhance customer value through additional products and services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, field service coordination, account management, or laboratory operations, along with hands-on experience in sample collection and laboratory testing. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Account & Customer Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate service delivery, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve service-related concerns.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up.
• Identify customer needs and communicate opportunities for additional products, services, and operational improvements.
• Support account growth through indirect upselling and value-added service recommendations.

Field Service Coordination

• Coordinate and oversee daily activities of field service technicians assigned to customer accounts.
• Manage service schedules, work assignments, and customer requirements.
• Monitor service execution to ensure timely, efficient, and quality service delivery.
• Assist with troubleshooting operational issues and escalating concerns when necessary.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and operational documentation.

Operations Support

• Support the development and execution of annual operational plans for the department and service team.
• Identify and assist with process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Communicate changes to products, processes, and procedures to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with established procedures, guidelines, and contractual requirements.
• Provide coordination support for departmental projects and operational initiatives.

Laboratory & Sample Analysis

• Collect customer samples in accordance with established procedures and safety requirements.
• Perform laboratory testing and analysis on collected samples.
• Record, interpret, and communicate test results accurately to customers and internal teams.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and follow applicable quality and safety standards.
• Provide analytical data and technical observations to support troubleshooting and service improvement.
• Collaborate with customers, field service technicians, laboratory staff, account managers, and business unit personnel.
• Gather, organize, and communicate technical information to support customer and operational requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, performance reviews, and operational planning discussions.
• Provide field personnel with guidance on customer expectations, service requirements, and operational priorities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in field service coordination, customer service, account management, laboratory operations, or a related industry.
• Experience managing customer accounts and delivering excellent customer service.
• Hands-on experience in sample collection and laboratory analysis or testing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Experience in oilfield services, refinery operations, or industrial service environments.
• Experience coordinating field technicians and supporting customer accounts.
• TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) — preferred, but not required.
