Role Overview
Research Organics, LLC is seeking an experienced QC / Analytical Chemist to support Quality Control operations due to a spike in business needs. The role focuses on wet chemistry testing, HPLC analysis, method validation, and GMP-compliant documentation, with responsibility for independent testing, data review, investigations, and technical support of protocols and reports.
This position requires a highly self-motivated, detail-oriented laboratory professional capable of working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strict adherence to GMP, data integrity, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Testing & Analysis
- Perform wet chemistry testing including IR, pH, TLC, solubility, and related analyses
- Conduct HPLC testing and related instrument activities
- Follow compendial methods (USP / EP / JP)
- Execute testing using approved written procedures and SOPs
Validation & Documentation
- Draft and execute method validation protocols
- Write validation and analytical reports
- Perform peer review and technical review of analytical data, protocols, and reports
- Maintain Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Data Integrity compliance
Quality & Investigation
- Identify Out-of-Specification (OOS) results
- Conduct root cause investigations with minimal guidance
- Recommend and document corrective actions as required
Instrument & Compliance Activities
- Perform instrument, titrant verification, and calibration as scheduled
- Support GMP, cGMP, ISO 9001/14001/45001 requirements
- Maintain laboratory safety, housekeeping, and 5S practices
- Work effectively within a team environment
- Support process improvement, quality, and safety initiatives

Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences + minimum 5 years of lab experience
- OR
- Associate degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences + minimum 10 years of non-academic lab experience
Technical Skills
- Wet chemistry & analytical testing
- HPLC
- Method validation
- Compendial testing (USP/EP/JP)
- GMP laboratory experience
- Strong documentation and data review skills
Soft Skills
- Strong planning, organization, and critical thinking
- Ability to manage larger projects with minimal oversight
- High attention to detail and proactive issue escalation

Physical & Safety Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods
