Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Laboratory Customer Care Representative in Irvine, CA to support a growing laboratory organization. You will be a key contact for clients, patients, Sales Representatives, and internal teams, delivering responsive, professional service in a regulated environment.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation in Salesforce and LIS, handling high volumes of calls and emails, and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or inside sales experience.
• Experience in regulated industry is a plus.
• Customer service in laboratory diagnostics, capital equipment, or medical devices is a plus.
• No scientific degree required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong attention to detail.
• Experience with Salesforce or LIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be a key contact for clients, patients, Sales Reps, and internal departments.
• Provide responsive support while resolving customer needs and documenting in LIS in a regulated lab environment.
• Deliver exceptional service and build relationships with clients, patients, and Sales team.
• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls and emails.
• Respond promptly to inquiries by phone, email, and fax.
• Research and resolve questions from clients and Sales Reps.
• Assist with routine held specimens and Additional Information Required cases.
• Communicate case rejections to the Sales team through Salesforce.
• Distribute patient reports to appropriate facilities; provide report summaries on request.
• Generate corrected, amended, and addended reports and follow up as needed.
• Document interactions in Salesforce and LIS.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer needs and deliver a positive experience.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
