Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Laboratory Care Technician (LCT) for the Acute Care Laboratory at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center-East Bank. This full-time day shift role runs 05:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with 2 weekends per 6, and occasional holidays.

The LCT will collect specimens, perform point-of-care testing and enter data in LIS/HIS, joining a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or higher with documented training in phlebotomy.
• Formal phlebotomy education program completion or equivalent.
• Experience or enrollment in MLT/MLS program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain biological specimens following SOPs.
• Perform phlebotomy at various sites with proper technique.
• Enter orders and collection data into LIS/HIS accurately.
