Job summary

Management Guidance, LLP (MGLLP) is a boutique labor relations law firm with offices in Minnesota and Wisconsin, representing employers and associations. We seek an attorney with 1–5 years of traditional labor-law experience to handle bargaining, grievances, NLRB matters, and association management.

The role offers hands-on negotiation opportunities and client-facing responsibilities starting spring 2027. MGLLP focuses on providing strategic guidance to employers and employer associations across

Qualifications

• J.D. and admission to practice in Minnesota, or eligible for prompt admission.
• Approximately 1–5 years of relevant traditional labor-law or labor-relations experience.
• Excellent judgment, writing, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide practical advice, manage multiple priorities, and work independently.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% as client needs require.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of collective bargaining.
• Advise employers and employer associations on CBAs and day-to-day labor relations.
• Serve as a management trustee on Taft-Hartley benefit plans (training available).
• Handle grievance, arbitration, and NLRB matters.
• Participate in labor-management committees and joint processes.
• Work with associations on governance, meetings, communications, and industry initiatives.
• Develop strong client relationships and industry knowledge.
