Management Guidance, LLP (MGLLP) is a boutique management-side labor relations law firm with offices in Minnesota and Wisconsin and a national practice representing employer associations and individual employers.
The firm is seeking an attorney with approximately 1–5 years of experience who wants to build a career in traditional labor relations. The work includes collective bargaining, grievance and arbitration matters, NLRB proceedings, labor-management relations, Taft-Hartley benefit matters, and strategic counseling of unionized employers.
The attorney hired will be at the bargaining table no later than spring 2027. Candidates with relevant experience—or who quickly demonstrate strong judgment, negotiation ability, and client skills—will have opportunities to take substantial and potentially leading roles in negotiations relatively quickly.
MGLLP also manages employer and trade associations. Association management is an important part of the position and includes working directly with association boards and industry leaders on governance, meeting planning and execution, communications, strategy, and industry initiatives.
Our attorneys work directly with business owners, executives, association leaders, union representatives, trustees, and other industry participants. Success depends on judgment, credibility, persuasion, negotiation, and relationships in addition to technical legal knowledge.
We are targeting a start date of not later than January 1, 2027.
