Job summary

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent; less than 1 year of experience acceptable.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of labor laws and union relations.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor work practices daily on a field project and advise superiors of observed or anticipated labor problems.
• Assist with staffing plans, wage trend studies, and development of craft training programs.
• Document and maintain files related to jurisdictional work assignments and investigations about employee misconduct.
• Develop knowledge of labor laws, equal employment/affirmative action policies and related government policies.
