Job summary

Bechtel in Ohio is seeking a Labor Relations Specialist to monitor field-work practices and advise on labor issues on a multi‑year semiconductor project in New Albany. You’ll assist staffing plans, wage trend analyses, and craft training/orientation programs to support a productive, compliant workforce.

You will collaborate with local and regional trades, manage information flow, and help ensure adherence to labor laws and site policies while facilitating constructive workplace relations.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in labor relations, project controls, or HR systems is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data tools (PowerBI, SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Performs research and develops information on productivity, labor trends, and industry practices.
• Prepares staffing forecasts and maintains reference lists/files.
• Ensures LR/IR/WFS activities conform to company and site policies and labor contracts.
• Interacts with craft workforce, construction leadership, client, and public; communicates progress.
• Supports investigations regarding employee misconduct according to work rules.
