Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Labor Relations professional to monitor field labor practices on a major construction project in New Albany, Ohio. You will assist staffing plans, wage trend studies, and craft training/orientation programs to support workforce development.

You will facilitate communication, ensure compliance with labor laws, and collaborate with local unions and site leadership to resolve issues and minimize schedule disruptions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent required.
• Experience in labor relations on construction projects preferred.
• Ability to multitask and handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop statistical information on productivity and labor trends.
• Prepare staffing forecasts.
• Maintain associated reference lists and files.
• Ensure LR/WFS activities conform to company policies and labor contracts.
• Monitor daily field practices and advise on labor problems.
• Collaborate with unions and management on process improvements.
• Produce LR/IR/WFS communications.
• Support investigations of misconduct per work rules.
