Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ, is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery on a per diem basis. The role covers 7pm–7am shifts, weekends and holidays with rotation, within a high-volume obstetric unit that handles both uncomplicated and high-risk pregnancies.

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience, NLN-accredited nursing education, and NJ RN license with BLS are required; ACLS/PALS may be required for certain specialties.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum Labor & Delivery experience as an RN.
• Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NJ RN license and BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to labor and delivery patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise and provide care to patients using the nursing process and therapeutic self.
• Ensure excellent patient service and adhere to Cooper core values and policies.
• Coordinate with physicians, support staff, and families for safe deliveries.
