Job summary

Englewood Health in Englewood, NJ is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies. The role requires BSN, NJ RN license, ACLS, BLS, and NPR, with at least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.

This per diem position features 12-hour shifts from 6:45a to 7:15p, with hours and rate aligning to New Jersey minimums; benefits may be offered for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year L&D experience required.
• Education Requirements: BSN required.
• License/Certification/Registry: Current NJ RN License, ACLS, NPR and BLS. Intermediate FHM within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Creating an environment that leads to a positive patient care experience by evaluating, planning and implementing effective plans of care and communicating with both patients and their families.
• Serving as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care in an acute or clinic settings.
• Making sound decisions in response to changes in condition/response to treatment while maintaining a calm demeanor.
• Utilizing the Electronic Health Record to document patient care.
• Effectively coordinating with physicians and team members regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, results of diagnostic tests and critical test values.
