Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN night shifts in Florida. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with the medical team.

Required RN license, BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications, and 1+ year acute care experience; an Associate degree is required with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong communication and computer skills, and EKG knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• RN license in Florida required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across multiple domains.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for adverse effects.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care.
