Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida, is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts. You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Eligible candidates may have a sign-on/relocation package as noted. Required RN licensure in Florida, BLS/ACLS certifications, and 1+ year acute care experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Florida (active)
• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred
• CPR (BLS) and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments to evaluate patient factors and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
