Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health seeks an experienced RN in Labor & Delivery at the Main Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. The role supports a high‑risk obstetric unit with a focus on teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

The RN must hold a NJ license, BLS, ACLS, and NRP; ADN required with BSN preferred. 36 hours per week, night shift (7am–7:30pm) with an hourly pay range of $49.03–$72.39 in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing
• 1 year RN experience minimum; 3–5 years high-risk Labor & Delivery preferred
• ACLS and NRP certifications required
• BSN strongly preferred
• EMR experience with EPIC
• Location: New Brunswick, NJ hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes
• Administer medications and provide hands-on nursing care
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers
• Educate patients and families for post‑care
• Document accurately in EMR to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care coordination
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture and ongoing professional growth
