Job summary

Medical City Plano is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care in a Level III obstetric unit. You will plan, coordinate and deliver patient-centered perinatal care, ensuring safety and evidence-based practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates will have antepartum experience, Texas RN license (or compact), and BSN/MSN preferred. Cares include post-partum, neonatal support, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• AHWONN must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Texas State RN License or compact license required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN/MSN preferred
• 1+ yrs of Antepartum experience required

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide individualized goal-directed nursing care that promotes health and protects patient safety.
• Advocate for patients, families and communities while coordinating care autonomously using evidence-based practices.

Education
