Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas in Texas is seeking an experienced RN Labor and Delivery to provide consistent, safe, high‑quality care from admission through the post‑delivery period. The incumbent will monitor fetal status, manage vaginal and cesarean births, and support anesthesia, PACU, and newborn care in the first two hours of life.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, TX RN license (or multi-state), current BLS, ACLS and NRP within prescribed timelines, and AWHONN

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
• Current TX RN License or RN multi-state compact license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS provider.
• ACLS and NRP required within 3 months of hire.
• Interns must complete NRP within 3 months of hire and ACLS within one year of hire.
• Must complete AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring Course within 1 year of hire or provide documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, safe, high-quality care for laboring patients from admission to post-delivery.
• Familiar with vaginal and C-section births and fetal monitoring; support anesthesia.
• Care for patients in PACU and newborn care during the first two hours of life.
