Job summary

Medical City Plano is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to plan and provide goal-directed nursing care for patients in the antepartum/ intrapartum setting. You will advocate for patient safety and coordinate care across disciplines in a high-acuity unit.

The role requires thorough knowledge of obstetric care, ability to work autonomously, and commitment to evidence-based practice within a leading hospital network.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• AWHONN must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN/MSN preferred.

• Plan and provide individual goal-directed nursing care.
• Advocate for health, safety and rights of patients and families.
• Coordinate care using evidence-based practices.
• Demonstrate autonomous nursing practice aligned with organizational values.
