Job summary

Medical City Plano is seeking a Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery to plan and provide goal-directed nursing care for mothers and newborns, advocating for patient safety and wellbeing. The RN will coordinate care autonomously using evidence-based practices within our high-risk antepartum and neonatal units.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of RN experience in L&D, holds a Texas State RN license (or compact) and preferably a BSN/MSN, with BLS and ACLS current.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, NRP must be obtained within specified timeframes.
• Texas State RN License or compact license required.
• 1+ year of RN experience in Labor and Delivery; BSN/MSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide individualized goal-directed nursing care that promotes health and safety.
• Coordinate patient care autonomously using evidence-based practices in L&D.
