Medical City McKinney, part of HCA Healthcare, has PRN opportunities for an experienced RN in Labor and Delivery. You will provide direct patient care within the scope of the RN Practice Act and support newborn and obstetric care in a high-acuity setting.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, flexible scheduling, and collegial teamwork within a 285+ bed facility. Texas license, Bachelors in Nursing, and ACLS/BLS/NRP within specified timelines are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• NRP must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse license in Texas or compact state

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope of practice
• Use therapeutic communication in daily practice
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
• Plan, implement and direct care using the nursing process
• Support patients and families to make informed healthcare decisions
• Advocate for patients and educate families throughout care continuum
• Delegate tasks and supervise staff as assigned
