Job summary

The Valley Health System in Paradise, NV is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and nursing standards. You will offer professional leadership to the healthcare team and support to staff, grounding all care in Patient Centered Care and a commitment to service excellence.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license in Nevada with BLS, ACLS and either PALS or NRP certifications; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Nevada.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or NRP certs as department requires.
• Interim RN license accepted as allowed by Nevada State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
