Job summary

The Valley Health System in Nevada is seeking an RN to provide safe, competent nursing care and to support the healthcare team across a busy hospital environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership, commitment to patient-centered care, and adherence to facility standards. BSN is preferred; candidates must hold Nevada RN licensure and current BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/ or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
