Job summary

The Valley Health System’s Summerlin Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to deliver safe, competent nursing care in a busy environment that includes a large maternity area, NICU/PICU, and cardiovascular services. You will provide clinical leadership to the healthcare team and uphold the facility’s Service Excellence standards.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Nevada RN license, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP credentials may be required by department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; NCLEX eligibility.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Current RN license in Nevada; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care according to facility policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times; oversees staff under supervision.
