Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking an experienced registered nurse in Nevada to provide safe, competent bedside care in a busy hospital setting. You will lead and support the healthcare team, applying patient-centered care principles and ensuring clinical excellence.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a valid NV RN license, BLS, ACLS (adult) or PALS/NRP as needed, and one year of acute care experience or completion of a specialty course within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• 1 year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Nevada; BLS; ACLS for adults; PALS or NRP for pediatrics as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence and patient-centered care at all times.
