Job summary

The Valley Health System seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe, competent nursing care and professional leadership within a busy hospital setting in Nevada. You will support the healthcare team, ensuring patient-centered care and adherence to facility standards.

Candidates should have RN licensure in Nevada, BLS, and the required specialty certifications. BSN preferred, with 1 year acute care experience or completion of a specialty program within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
• One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Nevada; BLS, ACLS or PALS/NRP certifications as required by unit.
• Interim RN license acceptable upon hire per Nevada rules.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides staff under supervision; demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
