Job summary

Island Lake Center in Longwood, FL is seeking a Labor Coordinator to oversee staffing and scheduling for nursing and support staff, ensuring the right people are in the right place each shift. You will design and manage schedules for nurses and CNAs, partner with HR, interpret policies with the Director of Nursing, adjust for call‑outs, and maintain attendance records with corrective actions when needed.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license is required.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word.
• Experience with scheduling software (Hosted Time preferred).
• Solid understanding of AHCA regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to balance employee needs with facility demands.

• Design and manage staffing schedules for nurses and nursing assistants.

• Interpret HR policies for nursing staff; coordinate training schedules with the Director of Nursing.
