COURTYARD HEALTH & REHAB is seeking a qualified Staffing Coordinator to support our healthcare team in McComb, MS. The role focuses on creating and maintaining nursing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage, and delivering daily staffing reports to ensure high-quality resident care.

The successful candidate will have 1+ year in healthcare staffing coordination, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with scheduling software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• 1+ year healthcare staffing coordination experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare setting (long-term care/medical facility) preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office.
• Compassionate mindset prioritizing resident care.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly nursing schedules.
• Secure shifts coverage with the Director of Nursing.

Job Type: Full-Time

Major Responsibilities

• Manage Nursing Staff Schedules - Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules for nurses and CNAs.
• Ensure Adequate Coverage - Work closely with the Director of Nursing to secure coverage for vacant shifts, open positions, vacations, and leave requests.
• Daily Staffing Reports - Complete daily staffing sheets and track nursing hours to meet PPD (Per Patient Day) requirements while maintaining compliance logs.
• Monitor and Verify Employee Attendance - Review and correct time clock punches, verify hours worked, and identify staffing trends.
• Collaborate with Admissions Team - Stay updated on census changes, new admissions, and discharges to adjust staffing accordingly.
• Data & Compliance Reporting - Prepare and submit daily nursing hours reports to the Executive Director / LNHA.
• Enhance Operational Efficiency - Implement new staffing strategies and processes to improve patient care and employee satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in healthcare staffing coordination preferred.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting (long-term care or medical facility preferred).
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
