Job description

Duties:

1. Temp to perm based on BI needs and worker’s performance.
2. CANDIDATES CANNOT HAVE PET BIRDS OR CHICKENS OF ANY KIND AT HOME. IF SO, THEY ARE INELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE.
3. Assist in all areas of Marek's disease vaccine production, including but not limited to:
4. Performing processes according to Standard Operating Procedures.
5. Using sterile techniques at all times.
6. Working under laminar flow hoods and HEPA-filtered environments.
7. Reporting any issues immediately to team leaders or supervisors.
8. Maintaining a clean and sterile lab environment.
9. Completing assigned monthly responsibilities accurately and timely.
10. Receiving roller bottles in labs and holding areas.
11. Assisting with candling and racking eggs in the incubation department.
12. Keeping accurate manufacturing records.
13. Promoting safety and awareness in the lab, adhering to safety practices.
14. Work Hours:
15. Monday: 7am – 5pm
16. Tuesday: 7am – 4pm
17. Wednesday: 7am – 2:30pm
18. Thursday: 7am – 5pm
19. Friday: 7am – 12:30pm
20. Labs rotate starting at 6am, with some overtime expected.
21. Rotated weekend work: typically 6 or 7am until 10am on Saturday and 6 or 7am until 11am on Sunday. Weekend technicians get the prior Wednesday off.
