Duties:
- Temp to perm based on BI needs and worker’s performance.
- CANDIDATES CANNOT HAVE PET BIRDS OR CHICKENS OF ANY KIND AT HOME. IF SO, THEY ARE INELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE.
- Assist in all areas of Marek's disease vaccine production, including but not limited to:
- Performing processes according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Using sterile techniques at all times.
- Working under laminar flow hoods and HEPA-filtered environments.
- Reporting any issues immediately to team leaders or supervisors.
- Maintaining a clean and sterile lab environment.
- Completing assigned monthly responsibilities accurately and timely.
- Receiving roller bottles in labs and holding areas.
- Assisting with candling and racking eggs in the incubation department.
- Keeping accurate manufacturing records.
- Promoting safety and awareness in the lab, adhering to safety practices.
- Work Hours:
- Monday: 7am – 5pm
- Tuesday: 7am – 4pm
- Wednesday: 7am – 2:30pm
- Thursday: 7am – 5pm
- Friday: 7am – 12:30pm
- Labs rotate starting at 6am, with some overtime expected.
- Rotated weekend work: typically 6 or 7am until 10am on Saturday and 6 or 7am until 11am on Sunday. Weekend technicians get the prior Wednesday off.
- Skills:
- Immediate training provided.
- Must be trained promptly in sterile techniques and lab procedures.

- Ability to lift 50 lbs and carry for 10 ft.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in sterile environments.
- Flexible availability, including weekends.
