Job summary

The Lab Technician position at Curtiss-Wright Actuation Division in Shelby, NC supports a broad range of testing, prototype development, and manufacturing processes. You will execute standard lab procedures, operate specialized test equipment, and ensure data integrity while escalating issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of laboratory operations and product testing.
• Ability to execute laboratory procedures with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency using laboratory equipment.
• Strong documentation and technical recording skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs a broad range of chemical, electronic, mechanical, or physical laboratory tests and/or analysis of materials or finished products using established procedures and documented work instructions.
• Configures, operates, and maintains laboratory instrumentation and test equipment.
• Builds, modifies, and troubleshoots laboratory test fixtures and prototype assemblies.
• Collects, records, and analyzes test results for completeness and identifies inconsistencies. Writes detailed analysis reports as required by the Company and any relevant regulatory agency.
• Accurately completes laboratory logs, electronic records, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
