Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Actuation Division in Shelby, NC is seeking a Machinist to perform routine and semi-routine machining on manual and CNC tools, producing precision components from blueprints while following inspection requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of machining principles, tooling selection, blueprint interpretation, dimensional tolerances, and precision inspection.
• Ability to independently complete standard machine setups and resolve routine production issues.
• Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing quality systems and documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate routine and semi-routine machines across multiple equipment types.
• Manufacture precision parts from blueprints and drawings.
• Inspect parts with precision measurement tools and adjust as needed.
• Diagnose minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance.
