Responsibilities

• Adheres to testing procedures and policies per QA guidelines; documents corrective action for non-conforming events.
• Prepares reagents and maintains supplies; manages inventory to reduce waste and expense.
• Utilizes clinical judgment to prioritize testing and communicates with appropriate department to troubleshoot issues.
• Participates in procedure reviews and documentation to meet accreditation requirements (CAP, TJC, OSHA).
• Maintains clear real-time communications with shift leadership regarding issues affecting patient care.
