Job description

Insight Global is seeking Lab Test Technician's for a top aerospace and advanced technology client. As a Test Technician within the Environmental Test Lab, you will own the processes and equipment required to perform testing critical to satellite production. Through process improvement and hands-on troubleshooting, you will be responsible for the quality, efficiency, and rate scaling of the lab.

Basic Qualifications:

• - High school diploma or GED
• - Relevant aerospace/automotive manufacturing experience or equivalent industry experience
• - Hands on work experience with electro-mechanical assemblies, final integration, testing and/or harness integration experience
• - Experience in a fast-paced production environment with flight hardware
• - Hand on experience with precision torque, measurement and inspection devices (i.e., automated and manual torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, optical inspection devices, multi-meters, torque wrenches, etc..)

Preferred Qualifications (not required but nice to have):

• - Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
• - Experience working with MES software packages
• - Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment
• - Experience working with High Pressure or Vacuum systems in a development or production environment
• - Experience working with test software (IE Do you have experience with test software like Test Stand, Lab View and/or Python)
• - Experience reading standard operating procedures or technical documents in production environment
• - Experience using VCR, Swagelok or vacuum fittings
• - Experience navigating between multiple internal tracking systems display hardware status
