Job summary

SGS in Brookings, SD is seeking a laboratory technician to prepare samples for analysis according to SOPs using department instrumentation.

You will perform routine operation, maintenance and calibration of prep instruments, input and maintain technical information, and keep a Laboratory Notebook; comply with HSE policies and ISO 17025/GLP guidelines, and perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1-2 years relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis according to SGS SOPs using department instrumentation.
• Perform routine operation, maintenance and calibration of prep instruments/equipment.
• Input and maintain technical information to support laboratory functions.
• Maintain Laboratory Notebook where applicable.
• Must comply with SGS HSE policies and ISO 17025 or GLP regulations.
• Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Performs routine operation, maintenance, calibration of prep instruments/equipment
• Inputs and maintains technical information as needed to support the laboratory functions/operations.

• Must be compliant with SGS HSE policies and adhere to ISO 17025 or GLP Regulations.
