SGS is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support sample preparation and analysis in our analytical chemistry laboratories in Brookings, SD. After appropriate training, you will prepare samples per SOPs using department-specific instrumentation and methodologies, and perform routine operation, maintenance and calibration of prep instruments.

Qualificações

• High school diploma required.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories preferred.

Job Description

• After appropriate training independently prepare samples for analysis according to SGS’ analytical SOPs using basic instrumentation specific to the department and analytical methodologies
• Performs routine operation, maintenance, calibration of prep instruments/equipment
• Inputs and maintains technical information as needed to support the laboratory functions/operations.
• Maintains Laboratory Notebook where applicable.
• Must be compliant with SGS HSE policies and adhere to ISO 17025 or GLP Regulations.
• Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (Required)
• 1-2 years of years’ relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories (Preferred)
