Job summary

SGS is looking for a Lab Technician I to handle samples, perform analyses, and report accurate data in line with Laboratory Operating Procedures and test methodologies. The role involves following standard protocols to homogenize samples and support routine laboratory tasks in a regulated environment.

The candidate will assist with cleaning, maintain records of quality activities, and perform testing under supervision while ensuring equipment is maintained and verified.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Interest in Microbiology/Chemistry or related field or commercial laboratory experience

Responsibilities

• Homogenizes samples following standard protocols.
• Assists with cleaning laboratory carts, glassware, racks.
• Maintains cleanliness of laboratory work surfaces.
• Maintains records of all quality activities as required in Operating Procedures and Test Methods.

SCHEDULED WORKING HOURS

Work schedule may vary based on business needs, with start times ranging from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and end times ranging from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

HS Diploma or Equivalent Required

Interest in Microbiology/Chemistry or related field or commercial laboratory experience
