Qualifications

• Must meet CLIA 88 personnel requirements for high complexity testing.
• Associate’s degree in MLT program from an accredited institution.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical materials.
• Ability to respond to inquiries from customers or regulatory agencies.
• Strong mathematical and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs high/high‑complexity, moderate, or waived testing per SOPs.
• Recognizes and corrects instrument malfunctions and documents troubleshooting.
• Confirms, verifies and reports test results independently.
• Monitors results for reasonableness and critical values.
• Prepares and/or collects specimens for analysis.
• Provides orientation/training to new staff and students.
• Participates in CSI and continuing education activities.
• Interprets data and assists physicians with result interpretation.
