Qualifications

• BS degree with minimum two years of clinical laboratory experience in a technical specialty.
• ASCP Board of Registry certification within 12 months of hire.
• Preferred: five years of clinical laboratory experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate laboratory operations and scheduling to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Develop and maintain SOPs; ensure document control and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in LIS planning and changes; ensure proper change control documentation.
• Oversee inventory, supplies, and budget adherence for the section.
• Train and evaluate staff; support performance reviews and competency.
• Perform complex testing with documented training; ensure QA/QC integrity.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and vendor communications.
• Contribute to quality management activities and patient care improvements.
