Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital is seeking a Lab Technical Coordinator for a full-time position in Geneva, IL. The role supports quality service in the laboratory, coordinating testing, technology implementation, and staff development under the manager's direction.

The Lab TC will work with pathologists and physicians to implement SOPs, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with CAP, AABB, and TJC standards while maintaining high standards of patient care and staff training.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical lab science with minimum two years of clinical laboratory experience.
• ASCP Board of Registry certification within 1 year of hire.
• Preferred: five years of clinical laboratory experience in a technical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate section staffing and scheduling to ensure coverage.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and document control.
• Ensure compliance with CAP, AABB, TJC and hospital policies.
• Oversee inventory and supply requests and liaise with supply chain.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
