Job summary

Qualifications

• ASCP certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory coordination: review results, QC/QA, and corrective actions.
• Develops SOPs and maintains document control.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state/local regulations and accreditation.
• Plans and maintains the LIS and related IT changes.
• Oversees inventory and supply requests within budget and volume demands.
• Staff training, competency assessment, and performance evaluation.

Education

BS degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical lab science or medical technology

ASCP Board of Registry certification within 1 year of hire (MLS/BB/C/CG/CT/H/HTL/I/M/MB)
