Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and ASCP certification eligibility within 1 year for hires after 1/19/2025.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical lab experience in a TJC or CAP accredited laboratory.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and participates in quality systems and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical/administrative oversight and direct workflow of personnel performing laboratory tests.
• Perform assay validations, instrument correlations, calibrations, and validation activities.
• Ensure proper pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic processes and documentation are completed accurately.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Allied Health qualifying the applicant to take the national ASCP certifying exam.
