Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in Oak Brook is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Cancer Center team. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position located at the Northwestern Medicine Cancer Center in Oakbrook.

You will collaborate with lab staff, receive specimens, enter results, handle LIS, perform waived/moderate testing under CLS supervision, and ensure quality controls while maintaining proper data entry and specimen handling procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Phlebotomy Certification or training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in a general lab or phlebotomy area or enrolled in related education.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lab staff and providers to ensure patient care.
• Receives specimens into the LIS and inputs results.
• Register specimen dropoffs and ensure accurate data entry.
